Scott Markowitz is a 2nd generation attorney, Texas Gulf Coast native and established the Markowitz Law Firm in 1993. "Empathetic and tenacious" is how some describe Scott. Those qualities coupled with his robust work ethic has garnered the law firm a cadre of loyal clientele spanning nearly 30 years.

The Firm’s core practice of traffic ticket defense has expanded in recent years to include real estate, probate and estate planning.

Scott’s wife Forreste heads up the client relations operations at Markowitz Law Firm. She has held a real estate broker’s license since 2010. She loves “flipping” homes in the Houston area and helps other investors do the same. She has sponsored agents, managed real estate brokerages and guided investors in the market. Forreste is also an instructor for the Houston Association of Realtors, teaching elective courses to brokers and agents alike.

When work stops and it’s time to play, Scott is a mariner who loves saltwater fishing, boating and hanging out near the ocean. Forreste is always nearby with friends and family, taking in the sun or watching the Texas Longhorns or Houston Rockets.
